Vivek Prasad Sagar won the FIH men's Rising star of the year award for the year 2019.
India's men's hockey mid-fielder teenager Vivek Prasad Sagar on momday was announced the winner of 2019 FIH men's Rising star of the year by International Hockey Federation(FIH).
The 19 year old Vivek Prasad Sagar won the accolade ahead of Argentina's Maeico Casella and Australia's Blake Govers.
Vivek polled 50 percent of all National Association votes ,23 percent media voters,15.1 percent fans and players votes for a combination of 34.5 percent votes.
Vivek Sagar was also a part of the Indian team that won the a silver at the 2019 sultan Azlan Shah Cup.
Vivek Prasad Sagar thanked everyone for him to achieve this rcognition.
