ESPN INDIA AWARDS 2019 ANNOUNCED
The ESPN India awards 2019 was announced.The ESPN.in awards recognise the best individual and team performance in Indian sport on a calender year.
Saurabh Chaudhary won the ESPN's Sports person of the year(male).Saurabh Chaudhary won a total of five world cup gold medals two in the men's 10m air pistol and another three in the 10m air pistol mixed event at ISSF World Cup 2019.
PV Sindhu completed a hat trick of ESPN India's top honours after being named sportsperson of the year(female) for 2019.
PV Sindhu victory against Japan's Nozomi Okuhara,which made her the first Indian to haveclaimed the world championship in badminton,was choosen as moment of the year.
Sprinter Dutee Chand became the first winners of the 'courage' award for being inspirational both on and off the field.She fought the world athletics governing body and earned her right to race again.
